The Academy is affiliated to the English Goju Ryu Karate Association (EGKA) and all students are required to hold a valid EGKA licence in order to train and grade.

New applicants will recieve an EGKA licence booklet together with the IOGKF Gi badge.

Licences are renewable annually and are the whole responsibility of the student.

Not only does the licence allow students to train, grade and attend EGKA special courses at a reduced fee, it is also inclusive of insurance in addition to the Academy professional indemnity cover.
